Halibut Point State Park, 2.5 miles from Rockport MBTA, offers rocky coastal trails, tide pools, picnic spots, and wildlife. Learn about its granite quarry past and WWII history while enjoying views of Maine and New Hampshire on clear days. Accessible by foot or bus #3.

MOTIF #1

AMERICA'S MOST PAINTED

Motif No. 1 is a replica of an 1884 fishing shack on Bradley Wharf, often called the most painted building in America. Beloved for its harbor views, striking light, and maritime symbolism, it has inspired generations of artists. Rockport preserves it as a cherished symbol of its fishing and artistic heritage.
